Hello people, writing with some very interesting news. So I am now part of the interior designers team for the Martian House artwork by Ella Good and Nicki Kent designed by Hugh Broughton Architects and Pearce+. So how did I actually get there?
It all started when I was searching for competitions and one that I came across was the lampshade competition to design a lamp shade that would eventually be 3D printed for the Building a Martian House.

I loved the idea of the Martian House, the way it is designed, its concept, and soon later discovered that the people that designed the Martian House were the ones I studied for my foundation year for extreme architecture which are Hugh Broughton Architects.
I never got an answer as to whether I made it or even won the competition so I forgot about it and just continued to follow it on my Instagram for constant updates as I knew it was going to be built in Bristol.
It was soon then announced that production has started on designing the building and it being brought to life and at the same time, they opened applications to apply becoming a part of the team and participate in designing the interior of the house.
And knowing the person that I am, I would take any opportunity to participate in anything space architecture-related. I pitched my proposal of how I would contribute to the project and they chose me! I am genuinely so honoured because it is work architecture related that would add to my experience and is within my area of expertise.
I am so excited to start designing some objects. I am thinking about chairs at the minute. I want to design a good chair. Click here for more explorations and final products.
